Nine Sites for Freelancing

By E.W.

The best way to get better at writing is to be constantly practicing. Whether you are writing a piece of fiction, an academic essay, or a blog, stretching and strengthening your creative muscles are crucial. And while you may believe writing is a reward in and of itself, some might consider having what you write published, in print or on the web, and earning a few extra dollars is pretty good too.

Freelancing is a great way to make a small commitment and get your name out there. And with the help of The Write Life, finding the perfect freelance or blogging job just got easier. The site contains numerous articles for those interested in selling their writing skills. Kelly Gurnett’s article, “9 Online Gold Mines for Finding Paid Freelance Writing Jobs” is especially appealing to those who are considering doing some freelancing work of their own.

Gurnett gives a brief background on the nine sites she lists and even gives a few to avoid. Towards the end of her blog, Gurnett gives a few words of advice that are helpful to every starting writer. Check out her blog, and even take a few moments to search around the site.
